Ron Rod is chief strategy officer and a founding shareholder of The Tagos Group, LLC. He is an innovative and dynamic supply chain executive with more than 30 years of distinguished achievement in both operational and strategic management positions, including practical experience in engineering, supply chain, construction, and contract management. His role at Tagos includes business development, customer relations, company strategy, and alliance relationships. His experience has been extensive in the utility, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical industries. He has recently led the supply chain management practice for a global professional services company. Ron has had the opportunity to network with over 200 Fortune 1000 companies serving supply chain needs for many retailers, manufacturers, and services industry customers.

Ron exhibits a passion for supply chain management and possesses the ability to motivate staff, clients, and suppliers to meet quality, performance, and cost reduction objectives. He has a demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of creative solutions for physical and technical network, logistics, operations, and customer service issues. He is a frequent speaker at various professional organization events, including the Institute of Supply Management, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and the National Association of Contract Managers. Ron holds an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design and a BS in Business Administration. Ron attended the University of Illinois where he received an additional certificate of business and studied engineering and business law for two years at the University of Wisconsin.
