Joseph Pacheco has an impressive track
record of creating value for customers through supply chain
management, continuous improvement, and supplier diversity
initiatives. He has been able to develop and improve strategic
sourcing, purchasing, contracts, materials management, and supplier
diversity within several multibillion dollar health care, education,
and government organizations. Joseph has managed teams with
responsibility for over $250 million in annual spend for a variety
of spend categories. He provided consulting to diversity suppliers
on marketing, technology, service, building capacity and scale,
and business development through a business he founded. Joseph has
established, managed, and improved strategic alliances with Fortune
500 companies and diversity suppliers. He has provided collaborative
team leadership to develop strategic plans, business objectives,
performance metrics, and strategic supply chain management.
Joseph has provided leadership within continuous improvement teams
utilizing the Malcolm Baldrige methodology to establish exceptional
performance practices. He is currently a member of the American
Society of Quality and is pursuing a Lean Bronze Certification to
further assist clients with improving value and competitive
advantage. Joseph is a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) with
the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and has received
additional training from the following programs: Leadership
Institute – Texas A&M University, Building Supplier Diversity –
Houston Minority Business Council (HMBC), Lean Six Sigma – Women’s
Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA). Joseph has a BS from the
University of Houston and an MBA from LeTourneau University.
